There are many types of audio devices that can be connected to the Sonos Wireless HiFi System, but you may need special connectors.
You will find that most audio connectors are generally either plugs, jacks, or spring posts. A jack is usually located on the back or front of audio equipment. Plugs are located at each end of a cable and are used to connect two pieces of audio equipment by inserting them into a jack on each device. Spring posts are used to connect speakers only.
*Note: On both components the volume is tied between the outputs and cannot be controlled individually. The Sonos CONNECT:AMP has spring posts and RCA jacks, one for the subwoofer (purple) and two for the Line-In (red and white).
