You get a pretty clear sound regardless of what genre of music you’re listening to. As I normally try to do, I tested the Jaybird Bluebuds X with a couple of different genres such as country, alternative and some old school 80’s music. I was really impressed with how clear the hi’s and mid’s were accompanied by a great deal of bass. Very pleasing to listen to while on a bus, train or while running a few miles around the neighborhood. Even with them on full blast, which isn’t something I ever recommend you do for long periods of time, the Jaybird Bluebuds X sounded good with little to no distortion.
If you’re the sort of person who wants the best Bluetooth earbud experience on the market today, I can safely say that I’ve seen no other set better than the JayBird BlueBuds X up to this point. There have been better, but unfortunately those weren’t Bluetooth, and you have to compare Bluetooth headphones to Bluetooth headphones due to the technology that’s used as it does make a difference in sound quality.
The Jaybird BlueBuds X aim to solve every single problem mentioned in the previous two paragraphs, offering great sound quality and low snag-ability without the feeling that you’ve attached weights to your ears. Specifically aimed at athletes, fitness buffs and other active people, they’re also handy for just about anyone. The question is: are they worth the comparatively high asking price? Let’s find out.
